The best way to show you care
Over a year of missed celebrations with our loved ones have passed us. This calls for a reminder about the good times. And what could possibly be a sweeter gesture than a care package from Bombay Sweet Shop? Our care package is designed to give your friends and family wondrous joy and comfort. When your sweet tooth is craving something new yet familiar, Bombay Sweet Shop’s care package has you covered.
With an assortment of mithai, puckering jujubes, sweet and savoury chikki and irresistible chocolate butterscotch barks, Bombay Sweet Shop’s Care Package has a bit of everything for everyone.
Our Nolen Gur & Coconut Kheer Kadam is the same juicy Nolen Gur Rasgulla wrapped in a soft Malai Peda, then coated in desiccated coconut. It doesn’t get better than the earthiness of Nolen Gur paired with the crunch of coconut. For many of us marzipan was a popular treat, especially during Christmas. At Bombay Sweet Shop, we reimagined the Kaju Katli as a marzipan and added some chocolate ganache to make a reimagined bon bon. Our Kaju Marzipan Bon Bon is a layer of rich chocolate ganache sandwiched between two layers of Kaju Katli and sprayed with chocolate to make a beautiful chocolate mithai.
When you think of hazelnut and chocolate what’s the first round treat you think of? Chances are you guessed Ferrero Rocher. Ferrero Rocher was an important part of our childhood. Every time an auntie or uncle visited from abroad, they inevitably brought us some sweet treats. We would abandon the laddus and gorge on the delicious Ferrero Rocher chocolates. Since we are bringing back the magic of mithai, we have decided to revamp the humble besan laddu and give it a hazelnut makeover. The Ferrero Rocker Laddus at Bombay Sweet Shop brings together the best of the besan laddu and the Ferrero Rocher.
Who doesn’t love a Peda? They’re so simple and delicious that everyone from children to your grandparents love them. We have two types of pedas in our care package. The Malai Peda is an ode to the classic. Ours is a cylindrical Peda, filled with emerald pistachios, figs, orange zest and rose water. It’s topped with a flower to make it even prettier. The Dulce De Leche Peda is similarly shaped but this one is a Lal Peda. To make it even richer, we fill it with silky dulce de leche and a peanut honeycomb. Finally, it is topped with the signature peda flower.
It doesn’t end at the pedas. We have two classics- the Milk Cake and the Kaapi Paak. All of us have had milk cakes at some point. But have you ever had a caramel glazed milk cake topped with a chocolate crown? Didn’t think so. The Kaapi Paak is a take on the popular melt-in-your-mouth Mysore Paak. Our version has the invigorating coffee flavour and is topped with sesame seeds. A better way to get your caffeine kick.
That’s just for mithai. You can even add a box of Assorted Mithai and our Coconut Caramel Patissa Bars to your care package. The care package is also filled with Indian Jujubes. Inspired by Karachi Halwa, our jujubes have the same flavour but the texture and composition of jujubes. We dare you to eat just one! This one transports us back to childhood and is the perfect snack for any journey. Speaking of snacks, the Bombay Bhel Chikki Bar epitomizes Bombay Sweet Shop. Not only did we reimagine chikki with new flavours but we also gave it a fun Bombay twist. The sweet, sticky goodness of chikki paired with the savoury elements of bhel make the Bombay Bhel Chikki Bar a winner. Finally, any care package at Bombay Sweet Shop would be incomplete without our Chocolate Butterscotch Barks. This brittle is topped with almond and sea salt which helps balance out the sweetness and has you coming back for me.
With an array of mithai and sweet treats that you will not find anywhere else, Bombay Sweet Shop’s Care Package is the perfect gift for any occasion. You can even add a special note for your loved ones. To order, visit our website or go to our Thrive webpage.
