We are open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 AM to 8 PM. Due to the current restricitons in Mumbai, we are unable to service you on our premises. Only deliveries are allowed at this time.

Yes, all our mithai are 100% vegetarian and preservative-free. The silver warq that we use is also Jain-friendly. So all of your loved ones can enjoy our sweets!

As of now, we are only located in Byculla. However, some of our retail products are also available for sale from our sister restaurant, O Pedro in BKC.

Deliveries and Shipping

Your order will be delivered between 12-7 PM on your chosen date of delivery.

Our current delivery radius only covers Mumbai district. allows you to select your preferred date of delivery, and the earliest slot available would be 48 hours from your order date. We are also available via Swiggy and Zomato for nearby orders. If your address is beyond the delivery radius, you may visit for same-day deliveries. 

Since all our sweets are preservative-free and prepared fresh, we would not be able to courier any mithai to you. However, we will do our best to ensure you get a sweet fix! If a friend or relative is able to hand-carry a parcel, we can prepare a package for you with sweets that will travel well.

Since our sweets are preservative-free, we only recommend that you hand-carry the mithai within an air conditioned environment. We promise, we are trying very hard to save on shipping costs so you can shop for more sweets! Since our pre-order deliveries follow a driving route, there are multiple shipments taking place from the same vehicle. However, a same-day delivery requires us to use individual delivery agents to fulfil requests. If possible, we recommend you pre-order with us so you can save more and buy more!

Due to the prevailing health and safety guidelines, we are operating with a smaller team so that we maintain social distancing norms within the kitchen. We’re working very hard to bring back our full assortment and will be updating our Instagram (@BombaySweetShop) as we introduce new sweets.

We heat-seal every box of sweets that goes out, so that you can safely sanitise the plastic outside, peel off the cover, and handle the box (and mithai) comfortably.

All our mithai are made fresh everyday, and don’t contain any preservatives. The shelf life of our sweets is low, so make sure you refrigerate them immediately and consume quickly!

Since all our mithai are preservative-free and made fresh everyday, the shelf life ranges from 3 to 10 days under refrigeration. You can find detailed information on the shelf life and allergens here

Not yet, but we are working very hard to ensure that anyone who is unable to consume sugar can also get their sweet fix with us!

Yes, all our sweets need to be stored in a refrigerator. This is because we do not add any preservatives to prolong the shelf life of our mithai, so that we can ensure you are only enjoying all-natural ingredients.

Unlike most other mithai shops, we mill our own besan to ensure it’s the right texture for making Motichoor Laddoos. We also prepare finer boondi so that when you eat one of our laddoos, each individual ‘grain’ separates - this is our favourite part!

Our Aam Pappad Lollipop is for mithai eaters of all ages! It does contain just a pinch of red chilli powder so if your little one can handle a hint of spice, we’re sure they’ll love it.

We currently do not have jaggery-based mithai on our menu. However, we are working around the clock to bring you guilt-free and diet-friendly mithais very soon!
