This year, get ready for some sweet treats that ‘sleigh’! This Christmas, we’re bringing you a taste of the classics with a twist!
First up we have our seasonal special Strawberry & Rose Barks. When our Chief Mithaiwala was travelling through Lucknow, he tasted a local delicacy called Karak Sohan Halwa. It is a flat disc, made by cooking together wheat flour, refined flour, sugar and lots of ghee. This thickened mixture is then poured over mixed nuts in a round mould and left to set, resulting in an almost biscuit-like sweet! Inspired by the brittle candy texture of this local delicacy, our Barks are made by sandwiching a generous layer of silky butterscotch caramel between dark chocolate. As a seasonal special, we switched out the almonds that go into our classic flavour with freeze-dried strawberries and rose petals. Our interpretation was to make this local delight into an on-the-go snack. It’s the variety of textures in our Choco Butterscotch Barks that keep you reaching out for more!
We’ve added a seasonal, ever-loved twist of strawberries. The base of our Indian chocolate bar is a strawberry kaju katli. This is then layered with white chocolate strawberry ganache and rice crispies, and enrobed in 54% dark chocolate.
And lastly, to add lots of spice and crunch to your Christmas, we have the Sour Cream and Onion Potato Salli. Like your favourite chips, but make it better! Potato salli flavoured with sour cream and onion and mixed nuts
