A little more about this Mithai
Marzipan is eaten in various parts of the world during Christmas time. When our Chief Mithaiwala travelled through Europe during the festive time of Christmas, he saw that chocolate coated marzipan was a widely popular treat. In India as well, the Anglo-Indian community makes lots of colourful treats in the shape and theme of their choice during Christmas. While traditionally around the world you would popularly find almond marzipan, in Goa cashew marzipan is used commonly used.
Inspired by these two ideas, we decided to treat our Kaju Katli as the 'marzipan'. We have sandwiched the two layers of the Katli with a thick layer of decadent chocolate ganache. Each square is then dipped in chocolate and once again sprayed with a chocolate spray. Lastly, we add a little bit of shimmer on top so that dazzles in your box!
With each bite you get the buttery finish of the cashew marzipan and a dense layer of bitter sweet chocolate! While making the Kaju Marzipan Bon Bon, our halwai team pays close attention while making the Kaju Katli to make sure it always it has that smooth mouthfeel and the right texture
