Sweet Gift Boxes & Care Packages for Every Occasion
Whether it is Eid, Diwali, Lohri or Christmas in India, all our festivals are laced with delicious mithai. The tradition of gifting mithai is deeply rooted in our shared culture and history. Over the past few years, we’ve noticed that Indian mithai and confectionery no longer became the go-to gifting choice. Mithai got replaced with more novel Western desserts and delicacies. With Bombay Sweet Shop, we wanted to bring back the magic of Indian mithai. Not only are we reimagining mithai in unique new ways but also reimagining how it is consumed and gifted, with our range of care packages.
As we followed the bee trail around the country, our menu expanded and today we offer not only a range of reimagined pedhas, burfis and laddoos but also a variety of sweet treats like fudge, chocolate bars, brittles and jujubes among other confectioneries. It is the kind of menu that will fit every sweet tooth, regardless of age. All our mithai is 100% vegetarian and preservative free. Our team of halwais at Bombay Sweet Shop, led by our Chief Mithaiwala, frequently introduce new mithai and confectionery for every season and festival. So there’s always a surprise care package for you and your loved ones!
If you have never been to our store, we highly encourage you to come in and sample the mithai. If you cannot make it to our store, schedule an appointment with our Mithai Magicians and we will guide you! Now, we know it can be intimidating to make a care package perfect for gifting so let us break our offerings down for you. Unlike traditional mithai shops, we sell our mithai by the piece and not by weight. So you can opt for a box of 9 or 18 mithai. If you like Coconut Caramel Patissa Bars as much as we do, you can even get a box with 4 Patissa and 9 mithai! The best part is, you can opt for any assortment of mithai you like! So pick a box of mithai to match the sentiment, occasion and appetite!
Our sweet treats are the perfect care package add-on to all the magical mithai. If you think you like Karachi Halwa, wait till you try our Karachi Halwa inspired Indian Jujubes. With the same mouthfeel as jujubes but the flavour of a Karachi Halwa, we know you are going to love it. This one is especially popular with children! Our barks are another crowd favourite and also our most popular sweet treat. A happy kitchen accident, our dark chocolate & butterscotch brittle is loaded with almonds, sea salt & nostalgia. If you prefer sweet and savoury treats, our Everything Chikki bar is the perfect addition to your care package. Made with jaggery, assorted nuts, seeds, chakli, salli, chips, sev, ghatia and bhel, the Everything Chikki is basically all your favourite snacks, in one! If you love nankhatai, we highly recommend our melt-in-your-mouth Indian Cookies. These buttery cookies are made with flour, besan and ghee and dusted with icing sugar and the Bombay Sweet Shop magic.
To make things even easier, we have a range of pre-assorted care packages. The Bombay Sweet Shop Care Package includes a box of 9 assorted mithai, a slab of Everything Chikki, a tin of Indian Cookies and a pouch of our Chocolate Butterscotch Barks. You can always switch the box of 9 mithai for a box of 18 or a box of patissa and mithai. If you need a midweek mood lifter, our Pick-Me-Up!
