Assorted Box - Patissa Bars & Mithai

The Assorted Patissa and Mithai box was born due to public demand! We noticed a pattern of customers buying the mithai box but also our Patissas and we asked ourselves, why haven't we made a box with both? Our Assorted Patissa and Mithai Box is divided into two halves where one is decked with 9 of our classic mithais and the other has 4 of our much loved Coconut Caramel Patissa Bars. In our assorted mithai you can savour our Kaju Bon Bons, Kaju Katli with decadent ganache inspired by the concept of chocolate coated marzipan, our Nolen Gur Kheer Kadam coated with dessicated coconut, our Milk Cake flavoured with malt and dipped in caramel, our Ferrero Rocker Besan Laddu rolled in hazelnuts, our Kaapi Paak which is our version of the soft Mysore Paak flavoured with coffee, an extra indulgent Dulce de Lecha Peda, our take on Varanasi's Lal Peda and our Malai Peda filled with the goodness of dry fruits! Our Coconut Caramel Patissa Bar has our favourite bits from the quintessential candy bars of our childhood. While experimenting with soan papdi, our Chefs realised the potential for its application in candy. The extremely hot mixture of Soan Papdi is then hand-pulled to form fine, flaky, crunchy fibres that simply melt in the mouth. While studying this painstaking technique from mithaiwalas in Kolkata, Chef Girish realised that it would make a unique textural addition to a traditional candy bar. The layer of soft caramel was inspired by some of our most beloved chocolate bars from ‘5 Star’ to ‘Twix’, with a grown-up twist of freshly cracked black pepper. Taking a cue from the ‘Bounty’ candy, the subtle flavour of coconut was added in the form of our light-as-air coconut fluff. This reimagined candy bar is finally coated with dark chocolate, thus resulting in the Coconut Caramel Patissa bar!
